During a trip to Tartu, Estonia, in late spring 2026, Swedish electronic artist rikardfvs set out to capture the atmosphere of this small but vibrant city. These field recordings became the starting point for four musical compositions, shaped through a process of deep listening in which each recording serves as the foundation for the music built around it.
Continuing his exploration of rhythmic sadbient, rikardfvs combines electronic rhythms with orchestral sounds, drawing on virtual instruments to create a distinctive balance between melancholy, texture and movement.
Composed during the spring and summer of 2026, TARTU transforms fragments of a place and its atmosphere into four personal sonic interpretations.
