Swedish researcher and composer Rikard Friberg von Sydow, known through his project rikardfvs, returns to the label Camembert Électrique with a new four-track EP. Created during a particularly sensitive period in his life, the release combines two remixes of earlier pieces - previously shared on SoundCloud - with two entirely new compositions.
Blending rhythmic structures with deep ambient atmospheres, the EP unfolds through melancholic textures, exotic rhythmic patterns, and fragmented vocal samples that remain just out of reach of clear understanding. Moving between experimental electronics and dreamlike soundscapes reminiscent at times of Boards of Canada, Rikardfvs continues to craft music that is both mysterious and emotionally resonant.
During a trip to Tartu, Estonia, in late spring 2026, Swedish electronic artist rikardfvs set out to capture the atmosphere of this small but vibrant city.
